Jaume runs one of the best little bars in town. Recently appointed, he has talent, a good instinct for food and a pedigree of cooking across Europe. His tapas are excellent and he does a beuatiful paella ( give him some warning!) The bar is at the swimming pool – 5-10 minute walk above the village.
The pool bar is open throughout the year – closed Mondays – and on a sunny January day is the best place to sit out on the terrace with a cold beer and a few things to nibble and plan just how you will climb the Puig Campana, clearly visible right in front of you, the next day.
Of course when the pool´s open in July and August you need to be there to cool off in the icy water. Wonderful!
Daniela, his wife, Dani and Vera and Aura, the children, are all variously to be found up at the Bar Piscina and are sure to make your visit pleasant and memorable.
|Yes, it´s real grass!||The best open-air pool in… Spain?||..so nice I had to put it in twice.|
